I've been super busy lately...which sucks because I really wanna write in here. Been too busy with school, work, homework, and you-know-who. :P

Sup guys?! I'm back, for now, as my title states. I just felt like it's time for me to share with the world how happy I am now and how amazing Javier Martinez is. So catching up time!

Back in the day, freshman year of high school, an odd-ball blonde girl met the sweetest, kindest boy in the world, who was just as quirky as her. (From time to time, I'll be quirky. I'll be quirky? ALBUQUERQUE?!) They became bestest friends in the whole, wide world. And then, they grew apart and went their separate ways to live their lives, or so they thought. After spending 4 years apart from each other, they reunited, thanks to some old, amazing friends of theirs. And they realized what was there all along. :)

I remember playing Mortal Kombat on Genesis for sure. None of that "sweat" shit. I used to kick ass as Subzero! Ripping people's hearts out and everything. I even think after you froze someone and the ice broke, blood came shooting out! lol
And everyone knows if you were jumping around in a foreign land with mushrooms and shit and you accidentally jumped off a cliff, you would die. Or if you got hit with a giant bullet. Really. Everyone one know that, it's freaking common knowledge. And if my kid didn't know that, then they're fucking stupid and there is no hope for them.

Yeah. I was looking at the band list this year to see how many of the bands I have heard of and how many of the bands I enjoy, even just a little. I've done this every year for the past couple years and the numbers seem to dwindle year after year after year. I remember back in like 8th or 9th grade when I knew almost everyone! There were some great bands! And now the Vans Warped Tour is the epitome of everything that is wrong with music today. First off, the band names. They fucking suck! They think they are being all clever and shit when in reality, they just make me want to punch them in the face. Second off, they all sound exactly the same. It's mostly whiney-ass emo, screamo, whatever the fuck it is these days...I can't keep up. They all use that same standard drum beat we all learned when we thought we had of chance at being the next big thing...it was so fast and edgy! (Did I mention ridiculously mundane?) I mean, I'm not saying I have a problem with simplicity, just not the same simplicity in all 25 songs the band has. Last off, they all look exactly the same! Emo mullets and guyliner for all! Oh, don't forget the tightest pants in the world so you can show off how much manhood you are missing. Anyway, I gotta go to work. Fuck Vans.

But anywho, this is a very, very super important post...BLINK-182 IS BACK, BABY! Omg, teh excite! I've waited 4 years for this day! But I'm soo nervous about it. Some bad shit went down between them...like Tom being a mega-douche. He still is, of course. Fuck Angels and Airwaves. AVA=shit. Indeed. He should get the Biggest Douche in the Universe award. Did you see him at the Grammys?! He was standing like 5 feet away from BFFs Mark and Travis! Fuck him. Not a good sign. But of course, (+44) was the shit. I wish they would (have) release a second album. Because I love me some Mark Hoppus-ness. Mmmm, sexay! And Travis is a fucking badass. Go him for surviving that killer plane (crash). So yeah, best of luck to them, so my ears can be happy and enjoy some blink goodness. And maybe if God loves me, they will go on tour! It's been a long time since I've written anything. In that case, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Christmas was rad, except for Mom having surgery. The Indiana trip was good...life is pretty good right now. But If you'll excuse me, I'm ridiculously tired.

I still need to buy a few Christmas presents, I need to buy a new tire, and I'm going out of town for 6 days...and this is all supposed to be done on $150? Yeah, I'm not Jesus. I can't work miracles. I can't turn water into wine or $150 into $150,000. So this freaking sucks. I wish I could buy a new car...but I just can't. I'll never be able to afford one, ever. UGH!

It was weird because I was talking to Katie last night and I was all like, "Yeah, Angie and I had to walk the dogs in the snow!" Totally something you would never, ever think you would say in Houston, Texas! So all kinds of crap going on this month...Saturday is the work Christmas party at Katz'/RHPS. My mom also decided to have a Christmas party that night, so totally can't attend that...thanks, Mom. Then Monday is my last final and this semester is done forever and ever. Tuesday we're going to BJ's with Aunt Cathy and Unker Bill (yes, Unker, not Uncle...). Then Christmas. Then the 26th to the 31st I'll be outie! I'll be in Indianapolis kickin' it old school with the homies! And by homies I mean family. Grandma, cousins, 2nd cousins, aunts, uncles! Crazy, awesome times. Sarah just had another baby so that ought to be chaotic...lol. Soo excited to go though, cause I havent seen family in forever because of stupid working...ugh! But now I get to go! Because of my awesome friends! Yay! Ok, I should really go study now...later, dawgs.

Sorry kids! I know I haven't written in a while but I've been super duper busy! And it sucks that I left ya'll with that depressing-ass shitty poo-poo entry. Anywho, life is grand now! Being newly single isn't half bad. But the holidays are coming up and that always makes everyone go crazy. Especially Mom.
Sooo...the diet isn't going so well. I've been doing everything right, but still no weight loss, so I'm taking SlimQuick again cause I actually lost weight with that, and I'm taking a multivitamin! So yay health! For once in my life ever! lol
But on a more serious note, guys...I have some tragic, tragic news. In my dad's hometown of Warrenton, Missouri where a lot of my family still resides, there have been 2 great losses. I know, it's heartbreaking. We're all having a hard time taking the news in around here. But we will prevail! I guess the loss is so difficult because that's a lot of childhood memories down the drain. Not just for my sister and I, but for my father and his younger sister; they were both employed at that great Dairy Queen in high school. Aunt Amy could put that little swirl on the cones like it was nobody's business! And Dad worked that grill like a pro! So rest in peace, houses of deliciousness, Warrenton will miss you. :'(

Today is the worst day of my life.

Today is going pretty good. It's freaking fantastic outside! And last night was a wonderful prelude to today. I went out to dinner to PF Chang's with Katie and then we went to Starbucks and talked and talked and talked with Kandis cause she came into town last night from UNT. We had some good times reminiscing and catching up. And we went to the Starbucks at Memorial and Dairy Ashford and we got to see Janis!! She's so awesome and it was really good to see her and hang out with her while she was working...lol. Some manager she is...JK! And Angie's party is tonight...sooooooo ready for it. It's gonna be grand! Later, Holmes sausages!

Katie, Elizabeth, Amy and I went last night. It was super fun and super scary! Well, in all actuality, it wasn't all that scary, but we were all a bunch of chickens so it just heightened the intensity. I recommend it though, if you're not a jerk and are just like whatever to haunted houses. It's fun if you get in the right mentality that it is actually going to be scary. But if you're just going to prove that you're big and tough, just don't. But we all had fun! We;re gonna try to go to more haunted houses throughout October if anyone is interested.

My chocolate chip Eggos were rather disappointing this morning... :( Oh well. Hopefully the new Hot Pocket panini that I'm trying for lunch will be a little better...Hooot Poooockeeettts. Ilu, Jim Gaffigan.

The reason I came here this morning was because of a dumbass article I saw on my iGoogle page when I went got get on the lovely internet this morning. I'm totally down for voting. I think everyone should vote if they have a valid reason to. "Why are you voting?" "Oh, because that person handing out fliers told me to." Stupid. Vote because you like so-and-so and what they stand for. Not because you're "supposed" to. I'm not not voting because of the dumb reasons they said in that article. Too expensive to vote? Who the fuck came up with that one? lol
Anywho, I like expressing my political opinion, to an extent. During the governor's election, I knew everything about every candidate. My choice was Kinky Friedman. I was soo excited to vote and promote Kinky. And I did. I voted. I did a send-away ballot because I was living in San Antonio but I still resided in Houston. So whoever's excuse is that it's too hard to vote is dumb. Anywho, everyone have a nice day! I'm off to look up Flogging Molly ticket info.

Update: Apparently Flogging Molly was supposed to play here on 9/25 and rescheduled to 2/27 and they're honoring 9/25 tickets on 2/27...so they are totally sold out. :(

Yes indeed they are. Katie and I went and saw them last night. We had a pleasant evening. First we went to Matt's restaurant to eat and it was freaking delicious. He was really awesome and sweet and gave us free food. And yummy pistachio gelato! :) So then we were off to Warehouse Live and of course we got totally lost. Well, we finally found it; it was practically attached to the Lofts at the Ballpark. So of course, we blew money on merchandise and then made our way to the stage. The first band that played, Electric Touch, was pretty catchy. Their guitarist was hilarious! He was trying sooo hard to be a rock star. Like he was making these faces and hitting on girls in the crowd. You know he totally got some 16 year old ass last night. Anywho, then the 2nd band played. I don't remember their name because they sucked. It was super lame music and made us tired. But they had a SUPER DUPER hot Asian guitarist which both be and Katie wanted to rape repeatedly. We both totally have yellow fever BADLY. So after that snoozefest, the Fratellis finally came on and freaking rocked the house. The crowd was weird. It was a whole bunch of annoying high schoolers who all acted like they had never been to a show before so they were super obnoxious. When we first saw them they were holding drinks and they all just had one and from there they acted totally wasted. The way the white chicks next to us were dancing...I'm pretty sure it was a sin. It was BAD. But highly entertaining. :) And the rest of the crowd were old dudes singing along. Awesome. There were some Scots, too. And some girls like me and Katie who love us some Scottish ass. All-in-all it was a rad night. After the show, that lame bad was signing autographs and when Katie and I got to the door, we just stared at the hot Asian a little longer and then took off. So in conclusion, the perfect man would be an Asian Scot. Later, haters!

You know what I don't like? Slutty teenagers. What the fuck? Seriously. Just at least wait until your 18 to be a slut. Then you don't get guys in trouble. Dude, it's so gross. You don't even know. Well, I'm sure you do know. Because you've seen their MySpaces. I just don't get it. When I was 15, I was still chillin' and having a good time. The last thing on my mind was how much dick I could get. But when guys knowingly fuck 15 year olds, it's worse than the slutty kid herself. Because they're fucking a child. Gross. I mean, yeah, they're fucking asking for it, but still doesn't make it ok. Just look at the sluttyness and keep your perversion to yourself, you sick fuck. But in conclusion, I fucking hate sluts. I hate the way they dress. I hate the way they act. I hate...them. Ugh. It just makes me want to knock some sense into them. But you know what? I won't. You know why? Because hitting a CHILD is ILLEGAL. So there. I just had to say something. Just to make myself feel better. I know it won't make a difference, and I don't really care. I just wanted to say what I have to say: I hate sluts, especially the kid kind.
